Week 5: February 27th - Crochet

To make up for the lack of crocheting update last week, I've got some nice big pretty pictures today! First things first, we have an update to the "This Is How You Lose The Time War" blanket/banner/masterpiece:

I swear, it's only at this distance that the cardinal looks like an actual cardinal and not just a mess of red

This is literally the coolest thing I've made thus far. I love laying it out and getting progress pictures because up close it definitely looks like a whole lot of color mess. Maybe when it's all done I'll flip it over to show the mess of strings underneath.

But I've also been working on a different book-based crochet project as well: another one inspired by brandos.books on Instagram where it's a granny-square blanket where each square is based on a book. I'm still deciding on how big to make it, but here are all the squares laid out thus far:

Still deciding on a 7 x 7 grid or a 9 x 9

Once I have every single square made I'll go through each one and explain what book they're for, but for fun see how many you can guess!
