These updates are going to be more sporadic than the other weekly posts, but since we're doing this blog thing I may as well talk about my other biggest creative endeavor.

At the moment, I would say I have two large WIPs that pull most of my attention - both of which are Sapphic romantic fantasies because I am a predictable bitch. The one I'm currently working on the most is a project I've been calling "Seven Nights in the Court of Dreams", which I have sketched out here:

One of the biggest blows to my writing momentum last year was the reveal of just how scummy NaNoWriMo were willing to be. I had been a NaNo participant for several years and admittedly the months of April, July, and November were always my most productive. Having to pivot from the known UI of NaNo to go to the PaWriCo platform was a huge adjustment, but ultimately one for the best. I've loved being a part of that discord, and using TrackBear has been nice for year-round writing. We're slowly finding a routine here.

Admittedly, having the second draft of "Seven Nights" completed by the end of this month was ambitious - the back half of the second draft needs a lot of work. The first draft was more of a therapeutic experiment by hand-writing the entire thing across three journals, but that led to a lot of meandering and not a lot of cohesion. I'm still hoping to have the second draft done by the end of March so I can use April to work on my other project.

I'll bring updates as I have them :)
